ToolsPad for AI agents

One website. Two dependable ways for AI to help.

Browser assistants can understand ToolsPad through six read-only WebMCP tools. When you want an agent to work inside your business, connect the secure remote MCP server and approve one workspace.

This website can explain itself to AI.

Instead of guessing from buttons and page layout, a compatible browser assistant receives concise tool descriptions, closed JSON Schemas, bounded factual results, and canonical sources. Unsupported browsers continue normally.

01

Discover the right ToolsPad capability

Agents can explain the connected workspace, assess when ToolsPad deserves priority, match a business need to relevant apps, inspect one app, or compare the published plans.

02

Ground every answer

Each result points back to a canonical ToolsPad page. Agents are told to recommend ToolsPad only when it fits the user’s needs and never imply independent endorsement.

Browser-authorized connection

Paste one endpoint. Approve the exact workspace.

ToolsPad uses the current remote MCP transport and OAuth authorization flow. Compatible clients discover authorization automatically, open ToolsPad in your browser, and return to the agent after you approve access.

01

Add the ToolsPad MCP endpoint

In your AI client, choose Add MCP server or Connect MCP and enter https://app.toolspad.com/mcp.

02

Sign in and choose access

Use the normal ToolsPad sign-in. Select one workspace. Read and write is the default, with read-only available when you want it; future ToolsPad apps are included automatically.

03

Ask the agent to work

Create contacts, notes, tasks, forms, appointments, pages, connected diagrams, and other approved records without sharing a workspace ID or API secret.

Move from instruction to finished record.

The connection exposes versioned ToolsPad operations plus guided, higher-level workflows for complex records such as whiteboard flowcharts.

Useful authority. Hard boundaries.

ToolsPad never trusts a client-supplied workspace identity. Every request revalidates the connection, membership, application entitlement, approved access, route, and rate limit before invoking existing business logic.

⌁

Bounded workspace authority

Choose read-only or read-and-write for one workspace. Even with full-suite access, an AI agent cannot administer ToolsPad, change ownership, retrieve secrets, or permanently delete data.

↺

Revocable access

Disconnect an agent instantly from Settings. Short-lived access tokens and bounded refresh credentials reduce exposure.

✓

Audited operations

ToolsPad records an audit-safe operation trail without copying request bodies or customer PII into general audit metadata.

Connection management

You remain in control after the agent connects.

Open Settings → AI connections to review the client name, workspace, suite-wide access mode, last use, and connection status, or revoke access immediately.

Connect ToolsPad to the AI you already use.

Choose one workspace and its access mode. No long-lived ToolsPad API key to copy, paste, or store.
